Former Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has revealed that he will shave his hair on live TV if the Black Stars fail to progress past the group stage.

Ghana has been drawn in a touch group H with Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay. 

Agyemang Badu, who was a participant of Ghana’s World Cup squad in 2014 is optimistic about Black Stars’ chances despite the fact that they are the tournament’s lowest-ranked nation.

Agyeman Badu on Tv3 said that if Ghana Black Stars get eliminated in the group stage at the World Cup he will shave all his hair on Live Television.

“Gradually we are doing well with set pieces. We are not up there yet. Now that we have a good bench. I’m not too sure that this team will go down that they cannot qualify from the group. If it doesn’t happen I will shave all my hair.”

“I can bet everything this team will qualify from the group. If Ghana doesn’t qualify from the group stage, I will shave it here. I am so optimistic about this team,” he added.

In related news, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has said that it will take more than a decade for Ghana national team to witness a player like Asamoah Gyan.

This comes after black stars players named by Otto Addo, won their friendly match against Switzerland on Thursday.

Agyeman Badu asserted forcefully on Utvghana midday news that although the current Black Stars side will do better at the World Cup, the team still need someone like Asamoah Gyan. 

“It will take Ghana Black Stars team 40 years to have a player with similar qualities of  Asamoah Gyan – He said in the interview .
