Akon Praises Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido & Others For Their Efforts And Achievements

Singer Akon has heaped praise on Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Mr. Eazi for their efforts to achieve success in the African music industry.

In an interview with Shade 45 presenter Sway, he stated emphatically that most Nigerian artistes are working hard to raise the banner of African music to the world, particularly in the Afrobeats genre, but that Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Mr Eazi are in a league of their own.

Akon speaking about about Davido revealed that, the Fem singer was trying to add Rap to his Afrobeats prowess because he was working hard to put out more Music videos whenever he found himself.. “At the time I was pushing ‘Thug Record’, Davido was in Atlanta trying to be a rapper. I told him, n*gga you better move back to Africa & do your music over there. He listened & went back home. Today, he’s one of the biggest Afrobeats artistes” – Akon sai

When asked if there is another Afrobeats artist who has cemented his name and is still making Afica proud on whom Akon relied, Burna Boy—The RNB singer, said he is a beast and killing it right now because of his sold out concerts and flex in him.. “I’m loving how Burna Boy is moving right now.Burna is killing it and it interesting….Burna is one of the most,,that guy is beast, he is killing it because he coming with the of Nigeria and Ghana. When highlighting Wizkid’s talent, the R&B singer stated emphatically that the “Essence” is naturally talented and has everything it takes to be called a Superstar, adding that he was born to be a Star..Akon said: “Wizkid is just a Superstar….Like he is a superstar….He’s one of those guys who wanna put out one record in a year and record in the last whole year….He’s just a born star without a doubt.

Akon went further and talk about Mr Eazi stating that the CEO of Empawa Africa is intelligent and more of a businessman than any artiste
