Beyonce ft. Shatta Wale-“Already” (official video) has been nominated as the “Best Art Director” of the year in this year’s MTV Video Music Awards 2021.

Ever since this historic collaboration came into an existence, Shatta Wale has been striking Gold with Beyonce on almost all the award categories being nominated and it still winning awards.

Undoubtedly, one can say it’s the biggest collaboration to have ever happened in Ghana music industry and has amplified many opportunities by opening many doors to other musicians. 

Talking about MTV Video Music Award for Best Art Direction, It’s an award given to credit both the artist and the art director of the music video for their hard work and effort on the project.

The nominations which the MTV announced on Wednesday 11, August 2021 also features Nigerian superstar Wizkid with “Brown Skin Girl” by Beyonce as Best RNB, Justin Bieber, Megan Thee Stallion, Ariana Grande, Swift Taylor among others were all nominated.

The show has been slated to air live from the Barclays Center in New York on 12 September at 8PM.

“VMAs is designed to feature artists whose cultural impact and work over the past year has transformed the music industry and created global conversation” said by MTV in a press release today 11, August 2021
