Ghanaian hip hop artiste At Black Entertainment, Black Sherif has been nominated for “Best International Flow” category at he 2022 (BET) Hip Hop Awards
The highly talented artiste is continuing to raise the Ghana flag high after receiving his first international nomination for the highly coveted BET Hip Hop Awards 2022.
Black Sherif recently announced his first international show, which will take place in the United States at Elsewhere-Hall in New York slated on November 6, 2022.
Black Sherif rose to fame in 2019 after his “First sermon” song went viral on the internet, and he continues to raise the bar in order to infuse more energy into his career in order to release “Second sermon.”

His “second sermon” song, which was released on July 16, 2021, did magic on all digital platforms, amassing 1 million views in five days, becoming his first personal achievement since breaking into the Ghanaian music scene.
The second sermon song went viral, prompting Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy to remix it and make a music video that has received over 8 million views in the six months since its release.
This subjected music lovers and fans all over the world to Black Sherif’s vibes and made them fall in love with him even more because of his unique talent, inspiring him to release another banger titled “Kwaku the Traveller.” The Kwaku the Traveller song has a video and has received over 12 million views on YouTube.
The “Kwaku the Traveller” hitmaker becomes the first Ghanaian artist to ever hit 100 million streams milestone on Boomplay.
Black Sherif is only Ghanaian nominated for 2022 edition of the BET hiphop Awards. He has also now become the youngest and seventh Ghanaian artist to break through and be nominated for a BET Awards, after Kojo Antwi, DBlack, Sarkodie, R2Bees, Stonebwoy, Mzvee, and Kwesi Arthur.

Meanwhile Sarkodie is the first winner of the Best International Flow Category in 2019, beating Falz (Nigeria), Ghetts (UK), Kalash (France), Lil Simz (UK), Nasty C (South Africa), and Tory Lanez (Canada).
The 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards will be held on September 30, 2022, at the Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta.
