Burna Boy, Tems, Buju and Pheelz has featured on former American President Barack Obama’s 2022 summer playlist on Tuesday night.
The former U.S President posted the playlist on his official tweeter handle as he explained how excited he is to share his favorite summer songs and how music has truly has the power to unite people.

The songs that earned all four artists on the coveted list were Tems by Burna Boy, “Last Last” by Pheelz featuring Buju (now known as BNXN), and “Vibe Out” by Pheelz.
The playlist also featured other songs by various artists with the likes of Beyoncé, Doechii, Drake, Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar,Lil Yachty, Wyclef , Amber Mark, Fat Boy Slim among others.
In 2020, Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Rema and other Afrobeats artists appeared on Barack Obama’s summer playlist and favorite Music of 2019 list
Later that year, Burna Boy’s song “Money My Baby” was included on former U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama’s workout playlist for 2020.

In other news, Burna Boy is enjoying success with his latest smash hit song, “Last Last,”
His latest star-studded studio album, “Love, Damini,” which was released on Friday, May 13, 2022, has the single “Last Last,” which has amassed amazing numbers on major music streaming platforms.
You can recall that, The Grammy award-winning artist’s “Last Last” song debuted at number 86 on Billboard Hot 100 charts.
Before a song is considered worthy of making the Billboard Hot 100 charts, important factors including airplay, streams, and digital sales for that song in the US especially for a specified tracking period are taken into account.
Well , the masterpiece, which was produced by Chopstix and debuted last week at No. 86, has risen 14 spots this week to No. 72, beating artists like Sam Smith, Kendrick Lamar, Sia, and others.
This is huge for Burna Boy, whose sixth studio album, “Love Damini,” is now performing well on several charts around the world.
