Cristiano Ronaldo is currently suing Juventus for failing to make a promised payment during the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ronaldo has decided to sue Juventus for failing to pay him a agreed-on amount of £17m approximately €19.9 million while seeking to manage their budget during the COVID era.
Ronaldo has already addressed the situation with the Prosecutor’s Office in Turin and has decided to take legal action against the Italian club.

Paulo Dybala originally cooperated with the Prosecutor’s Office in Turin, but then agreed with Juventus to receive €3 million in unpaid salaries.
Juventus pursued two financial methods during the COVID outbreak. First, they postponed all of their players’ salaries.
Second, the club negotiated with certain players privately, promising delayed payments and even signing confidential paperwork to ratify these deals. Juventus, however, has yet to pay Ronaldo’s deferred wage.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo moved from Real Madrid to Juventus in 2021 for €100 million, plus an additional €12 million.
This deal set records for the highest ever paid for a player above the age of 30, as well as the biggest paid by an Italian club.
When he first departed Madrid, Ronaldo expressed a desire for a fresh challenge, but he later blamed his departure on a perceived lack of support from club president Florentino Pérez
Ronaldo made 98 appearances and scored 81 goals in three seasons at Juventus before joining Manchester United the same year.
