Rapper Edem recounted how an industry gatekeeper slandered Shatta Wale in front of event organisers in a meeting, claiming that the dancehall musician can’t sell out a proper concert because he only charged 20 cedis for his Accra Sports Stadium concert.
Speaking on Metro TV’s entertainment review, Edem stated that the Gatekeeper’s statement prompted the event organisers to pass on the opportunity to another artist in favor of his favourite.

He firmly claimed that he has a screenshot of everything that happened during the conference meeting as proof or evidence to back up his claim.
Edem said below:
“And I am saying this practically, I’ve been in-conversations outside the country where an internal doesn’t know a particular conversation and I’ve seen him shooting an artist down’

“And i know when I say this my brother is going to go off but I’ve sat in a conversation between a gatekeeper and a group of people who wanted to bring Shatta on an event…. And the person straight up told them; you know what his stadium event is GHC20 so he wouldn’t be able to sellout and immediately brought an artist of his interest.

“The person didn’t know I was at the back. I was in Washington, we had a meeting and I was at the table, my name also came up in that meeting without the person knowing that, I was at the back of that conversation so I saw it’
