Ghana Party in the Park organizers have expressed their regret to Shatta Wale and Kofi Kinaata for not making them perform at the event this year.
This happened after the event’s headliner, an African dancehall king, vented his displeasure at the promoters and organizers for violating their promises.
The African dancehall king left a number of notes indicating that he is not a cheap musician and is not prepared to fly and perform if the promoters don’t give him the fair compensation he has requested.
Kofi Kinaata, another artist scheduled to perform at the event, was also unable to attend. The singer of “Thy Grace” made an apology to his fans.
“The management of Kofi Kinaata would like to announce to fans and patrons of “Ghana Party In The Park” festival in the United Kingdom (UK) that, the multiple award-winning artiste will not make it as earlier promoted.
“Even though plans were far advanced for Kofi Kinaata to perform, circumstances beyond our control have made it difficult for him to be there.
“We apologize to the fans any inconvenience caused. We wish the organizers the best event. Thank you.”- Kofi Kinaata posted.
