Popular American rapper 21 Savage has said in a recent social media post that he would no longer collaborate with African artists.
The comment comes after the Atlanta-based rapper’s participation in Burna Boy’s song and music video, “Sittin’ on top of the world.”
Burna Boy’s song featuring 21 Savage which was released on Monday 26th June 2023 and has already surpassed 1 million views on YouTube within in just 3 days.
21 Savage’s verse on the song were outstanding and adding a special touch to the overall arrangement. He spoke passionately about his generosity, emphasizing that he likes spending “hundreds of dollars” and showering people with luxuries like baguettes to make them feel like they’ve made it.
The song “Sittin’ On Top Of The World,” featuring 21 Savage, is an undeniable masterpiece as well as official music video, giving fans a taste of his classic ’80s and ’90s hip-hop music videos that take fans on a nostalgic journey.
However, 21 Savage, whose real name is Shéyaa Bin Abraham Joseph, expressed his disappointment on his Instagram story without naming anyone. Fans suspect his frustrations are directed at Burna Boy over his recent collaboration.
