Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has spoken about his near encounter with deportation from the United States Of America.

Shatta Wale speaking on Accra-based Hitz FM with Andy Dosty, stated passionately that, he was almost deported from American airport because of negative comments on Google.

He claims that after being instructed by immigration to have access to his passport, they checked it and discovered derogatory comments about him posted to the internet.

In response to the negative remarks witnessed by the immigration, Shatta Wale stated that Ghana had a history of spreading untrue rumors about him out of hatred.

He further emphasized that if people continue to write negative things about him, it will reflect poorly on the entire nation.

In other news, dancehall genius, Shatta Wale says he always feels good about himself when he looks in the mirror.

According to him, although others may disagree, he claims that despite being born in Korlegonor, his appearance can be compared to Michael Jackson’s iconic looks.

He further stated that nothing else is as important to him as his perception of himself.
