Popular comic relief actor, Abiodun Ayoyinka alias Papa Ajasco has debunked the rumour of his death after being mistaken for Femi Ogunrombi who passed on.
Femi Ogunrombi was reported to have died in the early hours of January 15th by Dr Husseini Shaibu on Twitter.
The late Femi joined Papa Ajasco & Company, created and produced by Wale Adenuga Productions (WAP), to temporarily portray the role of the supposed character between 2005 and 2006 as a stand-in for Abiodun, who presently plays the role.
According to information obtained by hellovybes based on independent checks and a video of the comic actor speaking about his alleged death news, which has been widely circulated on social media, the new Papa Ajasco, Abiodun Ayoyinka is alive.

Many fans of the show mistook Abiodun for Femi after his death was announced, so he has finally debunked the video about his death.
However, in a viral video, Abiodun debunks his death while thanking his fans for their unrivalled support and love over the years.

Dr. Hussein, a theatre practitioner, who announced Femi’s death on his Twitter account, wrote: “I have just been reliably informed that the ethnomusicologist, former Music Instructor with @NATIONALTROUPE and one time stand in for the ‘Papa Ajasco’ character on the popular @waleadenugaprod Comic Series ‘Papa Ajasco’ Mr. Femi Ogunrombi is dead!“
