Jamaican songwriter Andre Hugh Sutherland popularly known in showbiz as Popcaan is set to launch his next project which happens to be his fifth studio Album in Ghana.

In 2020, the dancehall artiste was on tour in ghana, became too emotional after visiting male and female dungeons and passageways of Cape Coast Castle as the tour guide explained how they were used to capture and send slaves into ships.

Several reports also claimed that, Popcaan announced to his fans he had purchased a new mansion in Ghana following his vacation when he was joined by other list of celebrities for celebration.

Taking to Twitter, to announce his next album launch in ghana, the Unruly Boss wrote ; “i’m doing my next album launch in Ghana and everyone’s AKWABA

Although the Portmore Born has not revealed the name of his next album but it’s will be his fifth studio album.

Popcaan released his debut studio album dubbed “Where We Come From” in 2014 when signed to Mixpak Records for multi-record deal. The “Where We Come From” album peaked No. 2 on Billboard’s Reggae Album chart.

In 2018, he releases “Forever” which happened to be his second studio album and was executive produced by Mixpak Records. The album features Nigerian Afrobeat star Davido. The Vanquish and Fixtape Album follows as his third and fourth album respectively.
