Former reptile handler Jeff Johnson who featured on Tiger King season one, committed suicide at the age of 58

According to report, Johnson shot himself in front of his wife on their driveway on September 8 following an argument with her.

Johnson’s wife contacted 911 right away, according to the incident report, her husband was still alive when police arrived. Upon arriving at the hospital, he was pronounced dead.

According to authorities, the couple’s children were at home at the time of the event. Johnson was not known to have any mental disorders, according to cops. 

Johnson recently debuted in the second season of the hit Netflix series Tiger King.

His death came just days after Tiger King host Erik Cowie was discovered dead as a result of binge drinking.

According to officials from the New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner, the reality star, who was discovered dead on September 3 in a friend’s Brooklyn apartment, died naturally as a result of acute and chronic alcohol usage.

Authorities discovered Cowie face down with a vodka bottle nearby, according to TMZ.
