John Boadu, a Popular politician will not be in charge for the next four years as the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) after loosing to Justin Frimpong Kodua.
This is in response to him losing his post in the party’s most recent national delegate congress, which was held at the Accra Sports Stadium.
He was defeated by the charming Justin Frimpong Kodua, and the election can be said to have been closely contested because the difference in votes was not much more than 400.

Member of parliament for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong, before the 2022 Annual Delegates Conference for the New Patriotic Party, predicted John Boadu’s defeat as general secretary.
This happened after Kennedy Agyapong, who was seen sitting in the Asaase radio station, made it known that he would be punishing Boadu John.
Kennedy Agyapong made it clear that Mr. John had backtracked on his promises and had lost contact with his people, particularly those who flocked to the party headquarters to voice their complaints.
