Nasty C Reveals Why He Turned Down Two Feature Requests From Sarkodie In New Freestyle Video

South African rapper, Nasty C has revealed why he turned down two feature requests from Sarkodie after their first encounter years back.

You may recall that Nasty C and Sarkodie have been on the radar as to who is the best rapper on several occasions, with fans of the two rappers arguing who get the best rap lines and flow

Back in July last year, Nigerian Burna Boy praised Nasty C as the best rapper in Africa, betting on him to compete with American rappers, which became a topic and dominated online as fans and music lovers shared their views.

However, during his freestyle session on Metro FM’s The Touch Down show, Nasty C revealed how he had already declined two features request from Sarkodie from time being because he held a grudge with him following their first encounter.

According to Nasty C Sakodie did not shake his hand, prompting him to promise himself that he would only give him a verse if he matured as a man.

“See, when I met Sarkodie he wouldn’t shake my hand. Cool. And I’m not too proud to say”. “I’m still a fan” but I held a grudge and told myself to wait till “I’m the man” — he rapped

The Def Jam signee also said in the freestyle that he always gave Sarkodie flimsy and “dumped excuses” telling Sarkodie that, he is in an album mode anything he ask for a verse or feature.

“and I will never give that man a verse and boy I did stick to my plan…Two request over the years and i declined them both

“But now I’m over that sh*t and he got all my respect. If he asked me to do a verse again, it’d be my hardest one yet — he said

He also addressed his honest opinion of Shatta Wale during the album’s promotion in Ghana.”

“Then I was out in Accra media run for my album is turning into a mess.. If turned in Lyon could guess… They asked me i knew Shatta Wale so i said he is one of the best. My honest response ended up being twisted by the press”

He emphasized that he wanted to put his pride aside to make peace with Sarkodie after several months of feuding, but the BET winner disrespected him again, so he felt regretted.

“I tried to scratch that eight weeks hard as it was to put my pride aside, I tried to make peace, it wasn’t even a beef but that was pretty spaghetti row weeks later I’m disrespected and regretted already” — he concluded
