Ghanaian reggae dancehall artist, Samini asserts that his 2017 smash hit tune, “My Own,” is the biggest song among those from Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, and Stonebwoy.
Samini strongly believes that even in his absence, none of the mentioned artists could produce a song that could surpass the popularity of ‘My Own.’
He made it clear that he did not see himself as being on the same level as these musicians, adding, “I’m minding my business, and I’m actually not on the same level as these guys when it comes to music.”
He added that he did not notice any significant changes in the music industry during his absence and believes that none of the current big songs can compete with ‘My Own.’
Samini also praised Stonebwoy for his most recent project, ‘5th Dimension,’ and stated that Stonebwoy’s release was the most remarkable of the “big three” artists.

Legendary Reggae and Dancehall artiste, Samini has claimed that he can fill O2 Arena with the right marketing and investment support.
Samini, known for his flourishing popularity and global brand, believes that fans from all over the world would flock to witness his electrifying performances.
During an interview on Berla Mund’s Day Show on Sunday, the “My Own” hitmaker conveyed his confidence in being able to pack the arena to capacity with the necessary investment and promotional efforts.
“…By myself I will fill it , with the right investment, I will fill it you are talking to Batman before I became Samini. Batman, the Mobo Award winner. Kenya King knows Batman. You are talking to people who know that brand. They know that act from that time, it is thriving and still functioning.
“If the right things are put in place, and you promote Samini in London, for four months, six months, three months. I will fill that space”.

Despite his confidence in filling London’s O2 Arena, Samini clarified that he would not undertake this initiative using his own funds.
“I’m not gonna take that money and go and do this because a Ghanaian wants to see the place full. Hell no, no Ghanaian investor is going to do that.
He also elaborated on his reservations regarding Ghanaian investors, saying, “I don’t have to trust them; it is not in our culture to dish out funds like that. That’s how they are, you can never change them.
“The typical Ghanaian investor will chill with you but will never give you, say, $5,000 and say, ‘Let’s have a business plan about your career.‘”— As quoted by Pulse
Furthermore, he lamented that despite previous attempts to approach Ghanaian investors, promises of meetings and support frequently went unfulfilled.
Samini attributed this to a lack of perceived value in the investments, explaining, “They don’t see the end value in what they are doing; they don’t see what they will get. Until value is placed before them, they won’t get it. We’ve shown them, we’ve been to them, they know.”
There have been conversation regarding whether Ghanaian artists can match the achievement of Nigerian music stars like Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, and Tiwa Savage, who have successfully sold out the iconic venue, placing significant pressure on Ghanaian artists.

The leader and founder of Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has made a U-turn following his recent prophecy about Ghanaian musician, Black Sherif.
During a phone conversation with MzGee on UTV’s United Showbiz, Nigel was questioned whether Black Sherif and his management had approached him about the prophecy. He responded that the prophecy wasn’t intended for the rapper, despite the similarity in names.
Prophet Nigel Gaisie
He clarified that in the spiritual realm, he saw someone called “Sherrif Black,” not the rapper Black Sherif, contrary to what some may have imagined.
Nigel Gaisie as a man of God emphasised his unshakeable dedication to the prophecy, adding that he would not alter or embellish it.
He was also questioned whether his ‘Sherif Black’ is a popular figure or “star,” to which he responded that he often receives criticism for his prophetic words, which is why he typically refrains from offering further explanations after making a prediction.
He emphasised his track record of past prophesies coming true, mentioning examples such as the late Ebony, the Gabon Coup, and the issue with IGP Dampare, all of which he considered to have happened as prophesied.
“I heard ‘Sherif Black’ not ‘Black Sherif’…..I was Sherif Black that i saw in the realms. Prophecy always comes with figurative and like I said, it better to say than to be sorry because people always haul insults and dent the image on prophets after being prophesied. But what I’m trying to say that we build nation with talents and gifts.
“I’m not prophesying by the inspirational of God that he should come to me because when I prophesy i don’t explained myself because I don’t add and omit some portion from it. But i don’t want to talk about this despite receiving a lot calls from other TV stations regarding my prophecy about ‘Black Sherif’ – Prophet Nigel Gaisie said.
Prophet Nigel Gaise shared his thoughts on Facebook, admitting that some may criticise or doubt his message.
Nevertheless, he emphasized that he considers it his duty, despite the occupational hazards of being a trusted prophetic voice.
Sharing the prophecy on Facebook, he wrote “they will say, why didn’t you say it! Why did you say it? Which ever way, I will say it tho I am very aware some will come and abuse me tho, they no*very well that I am a very trusted voice in the prophetic I have come to accept it and calls it*,Occupational Hazards*”.
He further implored – “Let the family of *Sheriff Black*….PRAY FOR HIM AND TALK TO HIM DEEPLY, I I DIDNT LIKE WHAT I SAW ABOUT HIM SOME FEW MINUTES AGO…..Life Is PRICELESS.I saw the mother crying uncontrollably *** (if nothing is done about this, Ghana will not hear a good news may be before December)”
You may call The Ghana Police Authority issued a severe warning to pastors, prophets, and religious leaders last December against doom prophecy at their traditional 31st night church services.
The purpose of this warning was to encourage religious leaders to use caution in their messages in order to prevent causing fear and panic among the people while still adhering to Ghana’s religious freedom laws.
The Police statement also emphasised the need of the general public, particularly faith-based organisations, adhering to the law while practising their beliefs.
It stressed that exercising such rights should not infringe on the rights of others or be contrary to the public interest.

He advised Kudus to follow the footsteps of Abedi Ayew Pele and Stephen Appiah by considering an early marriage and cautioned against associating with individuals known as “slay queens.”
He also urged the former Ajax player to always put his family first, work hard and listen attentively to his coaches in order to have flourish career.
“One of the pitfalls for several ex-African footballers is excessive womanising. Those who married early stayed grounded and were successful. Good examples are Abedi Pele and Stephen Appiah,” Daara wrote.
“Avoid them. Divorce rates for Ghanaian footballers when they retire is high because the fame and fortune is gone.
“The mind-blowing photos of women on social media doesn’t show their true character. You must know that most of them are attracted to you because of your fame and perceived fortune.
“Ask yourself this: ‘Will this woman be interested in marrying me if I was staying in Nima and playing for Accra Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League?’ If the answer is ‘no’ then that’s your red flag.”
He also emphasized on how Kudus should stand on his feet to consume every criticisms and setbacks.
“MEDIA SCRUTINY – Deal with scrutiny from fans and media maturely. Develop resilience to handle setbacks and criticism, as football can be challenging.
