The lifeless body of former Black Stars player Raphael Dwamena, who tragically collapsed and lost his life during a match in the Albanian league, has been brought to Ghana.
The flight landed in Accra late evening of Friday, November 17, surrounded by a small group of individuals who solemnly escorted it to its homeland.

The return of Raphael Dwamena’s body was a poignant moment, reflecting the heartfelt plea from his grieving family to football authorities for assistance in bringing their beloved son back to Ghana for a dignified burial and funeral ceremony.
Upon its arrival, the remains were accompanied by one of the team’s officials, attired in all-white, while the player’s family donned somber all-black T-Shirts.

Although the transportation flight was not captured on a camera, the coffin, respectfully draped in the Ghanaian flag, was carefully conveyed to its destination in Van.
As of now, the family has chosen to maintain silence on the arrival of Raphael Dwamena’s moral remains in Ghana.
They have not yet disclosed details regarding the burial date and the arrangements for the funeral, keeping a private space for their mourning process.
