Young woman known as QaShontae Short, dragged a man to court after failing to show up for a planned date as expected.
According to the Daily Mail, she filed the lawsuit in 2020 and claimed that a man named Richard Jordan who was supposed to take her out on the D-Day instead turned her down.
The angry woman demanded that he give her $10,000 as compensation (approximately Ghc82,000 ).
When the judge Herman Marable Jr. failed to admit that Jordan’s action was a recognized criminal, QaShontae caused a stir at the recent hearing.
According to court documents, she had claimed that he “did not show and left on her mother’s birthday and her mom had just passed away.”
She slammed Jordan for filing a lawsuit for “intentional” infliction of emotional distress. But QaShontae lost her cool when the presiding judge said it was not justifiable in district court and advised that it be brought to circuit court during the court case that was held via Zoom.
