Shatta Wale has responded to a letter from Sammy Flex, a member of his management team, regarding the cancellation of his Freedom Wave Concert at the Accra Sports Stadium this year.
In his letter, Sammy Flex asked the dancehall star consider cancelling the concert for everyone’s safety.
He also cited escalating political tensions and the allocation of the venue to another singer as reasons to consider other options.

Sammy Flex expressed concern that these factors will disrupt the concert and make both Shatta Wale’s team and fans unhappy.
In response, Shatta Wale shared the letter on Facebook and stated that he will follow his manager’s advice.
He stated that he believes there is a hidden motive against him and that his outspoken attitude is one of the reasons he is a target in the country.

Shatta Wale claimed that his father had sent him a video a few weeks ago, and Sammy Flex’s letter aligns to that video.
He also acknowledged that working with Sammy Flex brought about changes in himself and his spirituality.
He urged Shatta Movement fans to carefully read and assess what his manager, Samuel Atuobi Baah, had written, and he encouraged open discussion. He ended his his post on a positive note, saying, “Better days ahead.”
Shatta Wale previously stated that his Freedom Wave concert would take place on December 20-25 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Stonebwoy, on the other hand, later announced his own end-of-year concert for December 22 at the same venue, causing confusion because Shatta claimed to have booked the stadium first but was requested to reschedule for the next year.
