Ghanaian-UK based Gospel Artist and philanthropist, Sonnie Badu has showered praises on Shatta Wale, saying that the dancehall musician is very humble and respectful.
During an interview on HitzFm’s Daybreak show with DJ Slim, Sonnie Badu recalled his first meeting with Shatta Wale, stating that despite the singer’s loud persona on social media, he displayed remarkable humility, not even looking at his face twice.

Sonnie Badu also expressed his admiration for some of Shatta Wale’s songs, including ‘On God,’ regardless of the controversies surrounding the dancehall star.
The conversation stemmed from the possibility of collaborating with secular musicians, given the perceptions associated with such collaborations.

He further noted that if an artist has been unfairly labeled as a bad influence due to their genre, his association with them could potentially positively impact their life, making him open to working with them without hesitation.
