Shatta Wale has urged Ghanaians to stop insulting and attacking Nigerian fans and promoters because they are the leaders of the African music industry.
Shatta Wale has been trending since last week as a result of a feud he had with others over Meek Mill’s viral musical video that was shot at the Jubilee House.
The singer has been rallying support behind the American rapper who received backlash from Ghanaians following his visit to the president at the Flagstaff House.
However, Reggae-dancehall musician, Shatta Wale was seen preaching love between Ghanaians and Nigerians fans in a latest post as he praised them following music lovers’ rants about Nigerians’ progress in music.
According to him, Ghana’s music industry is a total embarrassment when compared to Nigeria, that has no match in the African entertainment space.
“Is better we stop arguing with nigerian Fans ,promoters ,etc and ask for help Me sef I need record label soon…Ghana music is a disgrace Mek nobody lie you …..Shouts to Naija Ghana ppl too deh like talk with no action….Yes I have said it” — He tweeted.
Meanwhile, Shatta Wale promised and hinted last year that his upcoming album would be released on January 2023, and that he would be in Nigeria for the album’s promotion after releasing the official artwork for his GOG album.
