Ghanaian actress Rosemond Alade Brown, popularly known in showbiz as Akuapem Poloo, says her conversion from Christianity to Islam has taught her that, there are differences between Christians and Muslims despite serving the same God.
This is when socialite, Akuapem Poloo boldly stated that the Islamic religion has more discipline than the Christian religion.
In an interview on Accra-based Kindgom FM, Poloo recounted how she used to strip and twerk on social media as a Christian but now she can’t do that anymore after converted to Islam.

“When I was a Christian I was doing my half-naked thing but after I converted to Islam, I am not able to do that” she said.
“Because when you go to Mosque all the women are in Hijab, they are all covered but when you go to church, most of them are not decent. They will wear a short skirt and leave parts of their body exposed” she added.
Akuapem Poloo reaffirmed her statement, emphasising, “Let’s face the fact,” that Islam has more discipline than Christianity.
You may recall that Akuapem Poloo converted to Islam after being seen wearing a long dress “Abaya” with a veil on her head when she visited the National Chief Imam.
Following her conversion, she announced her new name, “Haniya,” which shocked many because they assumed she was doing it for the trend.
She dated a Muslim man named Rashid Yakubu when she was a Christian and gave birth to her son, Mudasir Muhammed Yakubu.
