Kevin Prince Boateng has revealed why the officials of Ghana Black Stars, kicked him out of the team after he criticized them.

During his conversation on Ferdinand’s Vibe with Five podcast Kevin explained that the team’s officials served him with a letter in a hotel room, notifying him of his removal from the team.

Kevin asserted that he was axed from the Black Stars due to his criticism of the team’s management and board regarding their poor salary structure and organization. He had informed the officials that they deserved better Salary.

He pointed out that his dissatisfaction with the salary stemmed from his realization that the team was generating substantial revenue, leading him to believe that the players should receive better Salary.

“They kicked me out from the National team and  Schalke from the same season because i spoke with the president about the payment, organization so i criticized them”

“We were in the meeting then i criticized them and i said the country has like that because we know how much they make and invest in organizations and give the player how much he deserve so because of that they kicked me out”.

“They put the letter out of my door then I took the letter and it was 6:00 in the morning and it was 2014 World Cup in Brazil then they kicked me out…that day we about to play Portugal”— Kevin said.

Kevin Prince Boateng made his debut for the Black Stars during the 2010 World Cup against Germany, amassing 15 appearances and scoring 2 goals during his time with the team.
