The promoters of Shatta Wale’s show in Wolverhampton, UK, responded to the singer’s statement in which he claimed to have cancelled the event.

This comes after Shatta Wale and his management issued a statement on Tuesday, October 31, outlining the reasons for the show’s cancellation.

They asserted that the promoters had failed to meet his luxurious demands and requirements, which shocked many given the event’s extensive advertising and promotion.

However, in response to Shatta Wale’s show cancellation statement, the promoters issued a statement dated on November 1, claiming to have met all of the dancehall artist’s luxurious demands.

They even claimed to have paid half of the agreed-upon sum for the demands and were eagerly anticipating Shatta Wale’s performance.

The promoters went on to say that Shatta Wale’s statement and his team’s actions had taken them by surprise as they received no prior notice of their said ‘inability to fulfil their promises’ to the singer.

They also stated that they are prepared to resolve the issues between them and Shatta Wale peacefully, which could result in the show being halted or rescheduled.
