Akuapem Poloo has shared her experience during her visit to Saudi Arabia, a country in the Middle East to observe the ongoing Ramadan fast.

In an Instagram photos, the actress claimed to have nearly broken her arm while attempting to touch and kiss the ‘Kaba’ during her Umrah performance in Mecca.

Poloo, who had converted from Christianity to Islam for about a year, was first spotted in stunning images wearing a headscarf that covered every part of her body during her time in the country.

Her journey to Medina was motivated by a desire to participate in the Islamic pilgrimage known as Umrah, or Ramadan observing.

Many were pleased to see the actress turn a new leaf after seeing her in previous pictures and videos exposing flesh and tw3rking in awkward moments wherever she found herself.

Akuapem Poloo, whose Muslim name is Hajia Haniya, revealed that she struggled to touch and kiss the Kaba, Islam’s holiest shrine, despite a huge crowd at the premises.

She was spotted cradling in all-white outfit with Hijab, which represents ‘pure and cleanest’ according to Islamic belief.

The mother of one emphasised that she succeeded to achieve her heart desire to become the new ‘Hajia’ in town through “determination, hard work, and with the help of Allah.”
