Ghanaian rapper Medikal has issued a heartfelt apology to fellow musician Kofi Kinaata after unfollowing him on social media.
The incident comes after Medikal failed to perform at Kofi Kinaata’s just concluded ‘Made In Taadi’ concert bringing tension between the two artists.
Medikal stopped his performance at his ‘Beyond Kontrol’ concert on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at GHUD Park to address the issue with the fans.
According to Medikal, Kofi Kinaata expressed his disappointment by unfollowing him on social media after he didn’t show up at his 2024 Made In Taadi concert.
He claims he did not mean to miss the show, but something came up; however, he noticed that the ‘Susuka’ hitmaker had unfollowed him on all social media platforms.
Despite Kinaata’s actions, MDK insists that he still adores him and will always consider him a brother.
The former AMG member went on to publicly apologise to Kinaata, admitting his regret for his actions.
“If Kofi Kinaata is listening to me, tell him next year I will show up for him. I had to attend to an equally important issue hence my inability to show up for his show. I saw that he had unfollowed me but for me I know he is in his feelings and that after a while he will follow me back. I love Kofi Kinaata and I will not unfollow him,” he said while performing at his event“
