Ghanaian musician Amerado has revealed something weird he encountered while looking for love of his life.
Speaking to HitzFm, the rapper revealed that he went to a cemetery in his hometown, Ejisu, around 2 a.m. to perform a love charm known as “for girls.”
In recounting the incident, Amerado claimed to have sprayed a white powder and confessed to his desire to win his girlfriend’s love while standing in a graveyard.
He admits that he fled out of the graveyard during the rituals to avoid being spotted after the bold behaviour.
He noted that, despite his expectations and attempts to distance himself from the deed, the “for girls” worked for short periods of time before returning to normal.
“After I had mentioned her name and did the ‘for girls, I called her the next day and she was all loving. She agreed for me to pick her up, which I did. But when we were in the car, I accidentally snatched her phone and it fell and the screen got shattered. Right there and then, she got upset asked what she was doing in my company and that was it, the ‘for girls’ did not work again”.
Amerado’s revelation raised doubts among the panellists in the studio. But he maintains, saying, “I know this is live, but I swear, I’m not lying.”
When questioned if he regretted what he had done, Amerado replied that he did that because he was in love and that ‘people will do anything for love’.
The ‘Tin Ton Tan’ singer also revealed that, while their relationship did not go as planned, he and his ex-lover remain positive and close friends.
The rapper continued by saying that he is now dating but wishes that his girlfriend’s identity stay undisclosed to the public.
