On Wednesday, December 31, 2025, the Inspector-General Police’s Special Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team detained Ebo Noah, a self-proclaimed prophet, for inciting fear and panic, as well as unauthorised ark construction.
Ebo Noah, whose real name is Evans Eshun, was invited to the security agency’s office for a serious offence as part of an investigation after being declared wanted by Elmina Police District led by Commander, Chief Superintendent, Abraham Bansah, Hellovybes.com learnt.
His arrest was confirmed in a photo in which Noah was captured wearing his traditional custom while being handcuffed by the police.

Additionally, a viral footage shows Eboah being picked up by police out of the office emerges sparking debate online.
Prior to his arrest, Mr. Bansah had assigned two Assistant Superintendents, Lawrence Anane and Lawrence Quainoo, to locate Ebo Noah, but the operation was unsuccessful, including a visit to his parents’ home.
His family where questioned by the officers as well as neighbors who are familiar with the life of social media sensation, modernghana reports.
As of reporting this news, Ebo Noah has been detained and taken into police custody. He has not been officially charged for his offence because the authorities are currently conducting investigations.
The Special Cyber Vetting and Enforcement team, however, is yet to release a statement to officially announce the material creators.
This follows just a few days after a report indicated that people flew out of their various countries to join Ebo Noah in his arks, believing that the world will end on Christmas Day, December 25th.
The arks, which numbered ten and are still located in Elmina, Cape Coast, a central region of Ghana, are supposed to have held over 50,000 people each if a catastrophe happened.
On December 26, Ebo Noah reversed his failed prophecy, claiming that it did not come true because he backed it up with fasting and prayer, and that God heard him.
He then claimed that his arks are only accessible by invitation, and that the global deluge would still occur despite its postponement.
