She began her dance career at the age of 14 by watching tutorials on YouTube while attending school. Her parents were opposed to her desire to dance at school due to their negative perception of dancing.

Afronita’s educational background is remarkable and marvellous, due to her ability to take learning seriously. She attended Ridge Church School and completed secondary school at Wesley Girls’ High School in 2021. She further her tertiary education at the University of Ghana, where she studied Business Administration.

Not only is she a terrific dancer, but she is also an excellent student. During her time at Legon University, Afronita demonstrated her excellence by earning six A’s and two B’s in WASSCE. She also received Bs in elective Maths and Economics.

Afronita’s dancing career hit the spotlight due her association with DWP, where she began group dance at the age of 14 in 2018.

Because of her outstanding talent and perseverance, Afronita ascended to the top of the DWP ranks, earning a reputation for herself in the Ghanaian dance industry. 

She danced alongside other DWP dancers such as Endurance Grand, Richael, Real Cesh, Energetic Tymlez, Demzy Baye, Lisa Quam, and others.

Afronita quit DWP Academy in January 2024 because to her mother’s ability to withstand endurance. In an interview with Kwadwo Sheldon, the academy’s co-founder Quables revealed that Afronita’s mother was imposing stringent limitations on him, prompting her daughter to cut ties with the academy. 

Following her departure from the group, Afronita chose to go on a new journey and opened her dancing school, ‘Afro Star Kids Academy,’ on April 15, 2024. The school’s rationale is to teach children aged 3 to 12 with enthusiasm and affection for dancing. 

On May 2, 2024,  Afronita made her debut on Britain Got Talent show with her protege Abigail, Talented kidz’ season 14 winner.

During their participation on the show, the two projected the Azonto dance, in which they performed Fuse ODG’s song Azonto to high appreciation from the judges.
