Seasoned Ghanaian actress and media personality, Nana Ama McBrown has been accused forging her date of birth, thus, lying about her actual age.
This is according to a video circulating on social media which shows critics questioning the known date of birth provided by her as August 15, 1977.
Cybernauts made their checks and revealed that above stated date falls on a Monday, whereas Nana Ama McBrown has always claimed she was born on a Saturday.

In a typical Akan family, children are traditionally named based on the day of their birth.
For example, males and females born on Monday are called Kwadwo or Kojo, and Adjoa or Adwoa whereas those born on
Saturday are named Kwame or Ama.
According to these checks, netizens claims if Nana Ama McBrown was indeed born on a Monday, her name should have been Nana Adwoa McBrown, not Nana Ama, which indicates she was born on a Saturday.
