Following his apology to John Mahama, Prince David Osei has made a turn, claiming that he never insulted the NDC leader.
Speaking on HitzFM’s Daybreak with presenter Andy Dosty, the actor claimed it was his cousin who took his phone and wrote that ‘Mahama is a drunkard’.
David Osei, an ardent NPP supporter, stated that he went to sleep early after his congratulatory post to Mahama because the election results made him depressed.
In explaining how the insult started, David Osei states he had no clue of such a statement, but after waking up from his bed, he discovered that there were numerous reports claiming to have insulted the president.
He also denied that he never deleted the post but it was archived due to the attacks from the NDC supporters his comments.

Prince David Osei’s remark comes after he labelled President-elect John Mahama a drunkard in a twitter post in response to a fan who asked him to stop criticizing Mahama.
He later apologised for his actions after being dragged by NDC supporters, who considered his statement as disrespectful to their leader.
They urged authorities to deal with him for his recurring assaults on Mahama, which have harmed his hard-earned reputation even as a former president.
