C Confion atended his primary education at Kings and Queens International school in Kumasi and completed Junior Secondary in 2013.

He was born and raised by his parents in Ghana. His mother lives in Kenyiase Edumom, a suburb area in Kumasi, and his father is from Akuapem Ebirim.

Growing up, Confion experienced numerous obstacles as a result of his stubbornness in engaging in social vices like weed smoking.

He also had a damaged leg during his childhood when he was a football player before switching careers to acting.

Dr. Likee, alias Akabenezer, recognised his talent and provided him the opportunity to showcase it after they met on set during a movie shoot.

His sudden death on Friday, December 20, 2024, at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital left a vacuum in the hearts of his followers, colleagues, and loved ones.

C Confion apparently had a weaker body prior to his death, which prevented him from participating in films.

His death was confirmed in a statement issued by the management of Akabenezer Production owned by Dr Likee.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the demise of our brother Bright Owusu popularly known as C confion.

“We tried our possible best to do what we can to save his life. But unfortunately he left us.

“Thank you all for the love, support, prayers and words of encouragement showed during the hard time of our brother. Rest in peace Bright Owusu — the statement reads.
