Florence Obinim, a Ghanaian revered gospel singer and wife of pastor Daniel Obinim, has finally broken her silence on her new appearance, which went viral on the internet and sparked a lot of reaction from fans.
Speaking to congregants during Sunday service at her husband’s International God’s Way church, Florence Obinim revealed that her noticeable new look is the result of a 30-day fasting and prayer period, explaining that the spiritual exercise was undertaken to revive and restore the church after its collapse.
She also cites her love for her husband, faith, prayer, and renewal as the primary reason behind her shocking transformation ɔnd not being under the knife as many presummed.
The “Osoro Ne Yefie” singer went further by denying the widely claim that she has done a plastic surgery on her face just to appear more younger despite her old age.
Obinim quotes Bible verses to emphasise that she is not worried with online insults and trolls since she did what a wife should do to help her partner.
“I have not had plastic surgery on my face and have no idea where it is done. I abandoned my musical career to help my husband with 30-40 days of fasting and prayer since I observed my husband’s church falling apart and the people leaving, which made my body grow lean,” she stated.
This comes after Florence Obinim was filmed in a TikTok video wearing a red dress and slaying in the attire, with her makeover drawing harsh criticism after unveiling a fresh look.
