Anthony Joshua, a Nigerian-UK professional boxer, has suffered a physical body injuries after being involved in a fatal car crash.
The road accident, which reportedly occurred on Monday, December 29, 2025 in Makun, Ogun State, Nigeria, left the heavyweight boxer with a minor injury after killing two people.
Joshua is currently enjoying his Christmas break after returning to Nigeria following his recent victory fight over YouTuber Jake Paul.
According to eyewitnesses, the two-time world champions escaped the tragedy after his vehicle collided with another on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway under unknown circumstances, Legit.ng reports.
Footages and photos surfacing online show him shirtless while in pain and battling for his life in the car.
He was saved by onlookers who ran to him in the vehicle immediately following the incident, which took the lives two people on the spot.
However, Joshua has been rushed to a nearby hospital and is receiving medical care, despite the fact that he is not in a terrible condition.
However, he is yet to speak about his accident, as officials have initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause.
