Born in Bergentheim, Netherlands, Arne Slot began his football career as a midfielder for FC Swolle’s youth team in 1995, and he later moved to Nac Breda after making 164 appearances and 50 goals.
He maintained his impressive form at Nac Breda before leaving Sparta Rotterdam after five seasons.
Arne Slot returned to PEC Zwolle in 2009 before signing an outright contract with the club in 2010.
