Axel Disasi started his football journey at Paris FC’s youth academy where he made his professional debut against Lens on 11 December 2016 in a 1-0 loss. He then moved to Reims in 2016. In a significant transfers move, Disasi joined Monaco from Reims on 7 August 2020 for a €13 million signing a five-year contract with the club.
His debut Ligue 1 match for Monaco took place on August 23 against his former team Reims where he scored a goal, resulting in a 2-2 draw. On November 30, Disasi made his debut for France During the World Cup, marking the first time a French International debutant had done so since 1966 in a 1-0 group stage loss to Tunisia.
