Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta has revealed why Black Sherif has risen to the top of the Ghana music industry since he broke through in 2019.

Shatta Wale stated on Good Evening Ghana Show with Paul Otchere that Black Sherif is making it to the global stage because he is backed by a record label that will provide him with plugs that every artist wants in their music career.

According to Shatta Wale, he, Sarkodie, and Stonebwoy did not receive what Black Sherif has now, but they were able to sail through with their own sweats and finance everything solely for themselves without the help of anyone.

He was asked why he isn’t on a record label, to which Shatta Wale replied that, while there are record labels interested in him, the rationale behind him not being on a record label is that the deal might not suit him in any way.

He went on to say that when a record label signs an artist, they are ideally in for business.

Sonnie Badu stated on his social media accounts that Black Sherif is Bob Marley reincarnated due to his raw talent after listening to his latest album titled “The Villain I Never Was.”

According to Gospel Musician, Black Sherif will undoubtedly win a Grammy for Ghana, as he prayed for the hottest artist to continue raising the Ghana flag to greater heights.
