Chieftain Atuonu Biography,Family, Death, Wife & Children – Chief Obinna Atuonu, Abia State Organising Secretary of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has reportedly died. He passed away at the age of 65 on Friday, April 25th, after collapsing in a church while addressing parishioners. Chieftain survived with his wife and children.
The Nationonline who broke the story first, reported that the late Chieftain’s brother, Dr. Chiedozie Atouno, received a phone call and rushed to Abia from Umuahia, where he discovered his brother was in critical condition.
Despite all efforts to save him, Chieftain was confirmed dead after being brought to the local hospital for urgent medical attention.
The report also added that, the body of the late APC organising secretary is currently deposited in the mortuary.
However, Chieftain Obinna Atuonu family has yet to issue an official statement following the loss of their loved one.
