Huijsen’s journey as a young promising defender from the academy ranks to professional football has been nothing short of remarkable. 

His performances caught the attention of Juventus, one of Europe’s most prestigious clubs, which led to a move that allowed him to further develop his abilities. 

Dean Huijsen made his professional debut in 2023 after joining Juventus and briefly playing for the club’s under 23 team.

He was loaned to Roma in the Italian Serie A before permanently joining English club Bournemouth in 2024, where he showed his ability on a bigger stage. 

Huijsen has represented the Netherlands in several divisions from U17 to U19 during his international career.
