Freezy MacBonesis a professional Ghanaian-British light-weight boxer who grew up in Asokore Afigyease in the Ashanti region of Ghana. His parents, both farmers, raised him. Freezy MacBones attended Krobea Asante Technical Institute School in Kumasi, where he studied Building and Construction course and completed in 2011.

The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) also reported that MacBones has switched nationality from Ghana to the United Kingdom (UK), claiming that the boxer made the nationality switch right before his professional debut.
