Born Samuel Blankson in Accra on January 21, 1997, Kalyon comes from a strong Christian family and was reared by his Ghanaian parents, who now live in Kumasi, Ashanti region of Ghana. 
He completed Thy Mercy International School for junior secondary and Psts for Senior High in 2015.
Kalyon began his musical career as a child, but he developed more passion for music during his school years, when he performed in classrooms and auditoriums.
He released his debut single, ‘Obsessed’, in 2025 under UK-based record label VADE RECORDS, where he is currently signed.
The tune got widespread recognition and positive feedback as a result of its accessible lyrics, encouraging music lovers and digital creators to jam on it and create a TikTok challenge.
