A popular Ghanaian sports journalist has disclosed how the Ghana team has been done in secret for years before winning a major tournament.

The journalist has revealed the sacrifice Ghana national U-20 football team also known as Black Satellites did before they were able to win the 2009 U-20 World Cup trophy in Egypt.

According to him, the Black Satellites were given some spiritual directions by a prophet named Samuel Osei Kofi before winning the trophy.

He went further and explain how the final preparations on penalty takers against the Brazilian national team resulted in their ability to steer past the top-level team to win the trophy.

During his disclosure, the journalist cited Agyemang Badu as a witness to the animals they sacrificed prior to the knockout stages of the tournament, enabling them to win the tournament.

As a result, he has asked the former Black Stars player to come out and confirm his statements in order for Ghanaians to understand how it may benefit the senior national team.

In other news, Former Black Stars player, Laryea Kingston, has been named assistant coach of Ghana’s Under-17 team, the Black Starlets.

The Ghana Football Association confirmed Kingston’s appointment on Monday, December 12, 2022. 

The former Ghana international will serve as an assistant to the Black Starlets’ head coach, Abdul Karim Zito. 

Zito, who has coached Ghana’s youth teams over the years, led the Black Satellites to the 2021 AFCON victory.
