Ghana’s 2:2 draw against Egypt has ignited a wave of opinions among fans and football enthusiasts regarding the final outcome.
The frustration among Ghanaians centers around Inaki Williams’ error, which not only led to Egypt’s first goal but also the equalizer.
They calls for Williams’ permanent removal from the national team have intensified due to these disappointing moments.
Despite Mohammed Kudus salvaging a goal to give Ghana a 2:1 lead, the joy was short-lived as another defensive lapse, this time from Bukari Mohammed, allowed the Egyptians to level the score.
However Inaki Williams since making his debut for Black Stars has score only one goal with 14 appearances for the team including his two games at AFCON 2023.
His only goal for the Black Stars came in a FIFA World Cup qualification match against Madagascar at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
