Ghanaian musician, Mr Drew expressed his disappointment in Charter House for not winning the “Collaboration of the Year” at the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Award (TGMA).
In a recent interview on 3Music’s Daily Culture programme, Drew states that not winning the coveted award makes no sense because “no song was bigger than ‘Case’ in that category.”
Mr Drew emphasises his strong confidence that ‘Case’ was a highlight in its category, as well as the song’s huge impact and popular despite featuring an emerging musician, Mophty.
The award ceremony, which celebrates the best in Ghanaian music, did not see Mr. Drew’s hugely popular hit, “Case,” receive the awards that it deserved after being beaten by KiDi’s ‘Likor’ featuring Stonebwoy.

Case was released in September 2023, along with a remix and a video produced by MOG beatz and directed by Junie Films. It garnered widespread reputation in Ghana and beyond due to its captivating beat and lyrics, inspiring music fans to take it on as a challenge.
Since its release on digital streaming services such as YouTube and Spotify, Apple Music has received a large amount of streams and views.
