Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, also known as Pastor J, was born on April 27th. He hails from a Yoruba background and was born into a family where both his father and mother were pastors, which naturally led to his active involvement in church activities. He began expressing his love for music by singing in the children’s choir from a young age.

In his early years, Pastor Jimmy was also a part of the RGK dance group, showcasing his passion for performing. He pursued his education at Oral Roberts University, where he earned two degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Public Relations and Advertising.

During his college years, he transitioned into a significant role within the active college ministry of Transformation Church known as B.I.O. (Bring It On).

After demonstrating his capabilities, he assumed responsibility for all church operations and service coordination, all while assisting the then associate pastor, Pastor Calvin Battle, who has since become the pastor of Destiny Center.

After years of dedicated service at Transformation Church, Jimmy Odukoya moved on to Bixby Community Church, where he took on the role of Assistant to Senior Pastor Dr. Steve Greene.

In 2009, he obtained his ministerial license and, in the same year, was ordained as a pastor at Fountain Of Life Church, a congregation founded by his father, Taiwo Odukoya. Following his return from the U.S.A.,

Jimmy Odukoya assumed the position of Assistant Pastor at Church 3:16, the youth ministry of Fountain of Life Church.

He worked alongside Coordinating Pastor Pastor Oyinda Soderu until he took on the role of Coordinating Pastor of Church 3:16 in February 2012. It’s worth noting that his wife also holds a pastoral role at Church 3:16.
