Julian Alvarez is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Argentina and Manchester City in the English Premier League. He was born on January 31, 2000, and is 22 years old. Mariana and Gustavo Alvarez raised him in the city of Calchin, Argentina.
Julian Alvarez began his football career at his childhood club Cachin and made his youth national debut in 2016 after moving to River Plate, where he was selected to be a part of Argentina’s U20 team to train against the senior national team.
Julian Alvarez was called up to the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2019 and scored one goal against South Africa after being spotted by coach Fernando Batista. He was also called up to the U-23 squad and helped Argentina win the CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament in 2020.
