Mohammed Kudus has bid a heartfelt farewell to Ajax as he embarks on a new journey with West Ham United in the English Premier League.

The Ghanaian international, who spent three memorable seasons with Ajax after joining from Nordsjaelland in 2020, shared his emotions on social media.

West Ham United successfully completed the signing of Kudus Mohammed on August 27, 2023, with the midfielder committing to a five-year deal for a reported fee of £38 million.

The 23-year-old becomes the fourth addition to the West Ham squad for the summer transfer window, joining the likes of Ward-Prowse, Alvarez, and Konstantinos Mavropanos following Declan Rice’s departure.

Following his move to West Ham, Kudus bids a farewell to Ajax as he expressed his gratitude to the club, saying, “As one journey ends, another begins. Kudus Mohammed’s professional career began with Danish side Nordsjaelland in 2018, and in 2020, he made the impactful move to Ajax.

During his time at Ajax, he made 87 appearances, scoring 27 goals and contributing to two Dutch league titles.

In the previous Eredivisie season, he scored 11 goals in 30 appearances, helping Ajax secure a third-place finish.

On the international stage, Kudus has represented Ghana, scoring seven goals in 24 matches since his debut in 2019.

He also played a pivotal role in all three matches for his national team at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, scoring twice in a thrilling 3-2 victory over South Korea.
