Ghanaian-Nigerian musician Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, has become a shareholder of the basketball club Cape Town Tigers.

Taking to his official Twitter page, the musician explained that he decided to buy the shares in order to follow the footsteps of his mentor, Jay Z.

Jay-Z’s investments are well-documented and he was a co-owner of the NBA side Brooklyn Nets after buying a stake in the team.

The highly rated rapper, however, later sold his shares in the team, which he bought for $1 million in 2004.

However, according to Mr Eazi’s tweet, after reading about how Jay Z got shares in a NYC basketball team, he decided to do the same and was excited to announce being a shareholder with Came Town Tigers.
