Otto Addo Makes Two Changes In The Ghana Line Up To Face Uruguay

The Black Stars of Ghana completed their final training session ahead to their game versus Uruguay on December 1, 2022. 

Coach Otto Addo names his starting eleven against Uruguay, in which he makes two changes following their training session.

All first eleven players who started the match against Uruguay performed admirably, with the exception of Baba Rahman and Seidu, who were replaced by Mahammed Salis and Jordan Ayew, respectively.

With their hopes of advancing to the round of 16 of the tournament, Coach Otto Addo’s team should get three points from the South Americans, who are currently at the bottom of the table with one point in group H.

In order to achieve this feat, Otto Addo made two changes to the squad that began the encounter against South Korea, with Gideon Mensah being replaced by Baba Rahman in the squad to face Uruguay. 

Tariq Mensah, who also did the defensive recovery, has been benched and replaced by Seidu, who began the first game against Portugal and lost 3-2.

Salis Mohammed, who made his first start against Korea, retained his place in the starting lineup, forming a midfield backbone with Thomas Partey, while Mohammed Kudus prepares to press in bang with his dribbling. Ayew brothers are also  maintained to support Inaki Williams upfront.
