Paris Saint Germain (PSG) has reportedly joined the race to sign Ghana sensation Kudus Mohammed from Ajax, Footballghana.com reports.
The Ghana international is having a fantastic season with the Dutch giants, scoring 18 goals and providing 5 assists.
Following his swashbuckling performance this season, Kudus has piqued the curiosity of several elites clubs in Europe, including Manchester United, Real Madrid, and others.
According to the source, Paris Saint-Germain is the latest team to enter the hunt for the former FC Nordjaelland star’s signing.
According to Pedro Almeida, a Portuguese transfer expert who broke the story, PSG has began talks with Ajax about acquiring the 22-year-old for a sum of roughly €50 million.
Meanwhile, the Dutch conglomerates are said to be asking a price of more than €50 million from the French Ligue 1 giants.
Kudus is thought to be interested in joining PSG, but the French club would have to match Ajax’s demands in order to acquire his signature.
The Ghanaian star, who suffered a muscular injury last week Wednesday during Ajax’s KNVB Cup semifinal against Feyenoord, is expected to be sidelined for two to three weeks.
